Suzhou Travel Must-Stay Hotel, the buffet is known as the city's ceiling
As a popular travel city and the strongest economic city in Jiangsu, Suzhou's hotel and tourism industries can be said to have been at the forefront of the country, such as the I stayed at during my trip to Suzhou, with its unique cruise ship shape, is a well-deserved internet-famous landmark in Suzhou.
🏨 Jinji Lake is at your feet, Suzhou Center is opposite
The hotel is located in the core area of Jinji Lake, and you can see the stunning Gate of Suzhou from the room. Just a few steps downstairs, you can reach the Jinji Lake boardwalk. Whether you want to relax on vacation or enjoy the city's beauty, it's very suitable. I stayed here for 4 days and didn't want to go out, spending every day in the hotel lobby bar for afternoon tea, the buffet restaurant for rich breakfast and dinner, and the bar for nightlife, all very fulfilling.
🚢 The hotel's exterior looks like a giant cruise ship, and at night, colorful light strips light up on the outside, as if it's about to set sail, looking very beautiful from a distance. The interior uses a symmetrical design, with guest rooms distributed on both sides, very similar to the layout of the ocean liners I've been on before. The room's decor theme is also nautical style, such as the direction wheel used for decoration, and the toiletries, cups, etc., are also printed with nautical elements, making the theme style unique and fashionable.
🍰 The hotel's lobby bar offers very affordable desserts. It's comfortable to lie down and play with your phone in the afternoon, where you can drink coffee while enjoying the view of Jinji Lake outside the glass wall. There are also rotating staircases, dolphin pools, piano performances, and other entertainment elements, perfect for both photography and entertainment.
🦞 Dinner is definitely the hotel's signature, many people call it "Suzhou's buffet ceiling." As the five-star hotel closest to Jinji Lake, the restaurant is directly above the lake. Sitting by the window, you can enjoy the lake view and the Gate of Suzhou while tasting delicious meals. The variety of dishes in the restaurant is astonishing, described as "overly abundant." Just the desserts alone include dozens of types, such as chocolate cheesecake, vanilla mousse, red velvet cake, strawberry cake, walnut pie, etc., all very delicious. The hot and cold dishes also cover Chinese and Western styles, local dishes, Sichuan cuisine, barbecue, and more, with dishes like sweet and sour ribs, beef and lamb skewers, beef and lamb chops, braised beef, dry pot prawns, Suzhou pastries, etc., all available. The Peking duck is also sliced and rolled on the spot, not losing to the taste experienced in Beijing.
Additionally, traditional seafood like prawns, scallops, whelks, razor clams, crab sticks, crab legs, abalone, etc., are available in unlimited quantities, and the large and plump fresh oysters are also freely flaunted. Plus, each person gets a portion of garlic vermicelli with big lobster, which is fresh, firm, and has an amazing taste.
🍷 In the evening, you can also visit the Mariana, a central lobby bar with a global travel design concept, which offers a wide range of quality drinks to choose from. Every season, special cocktails are introduced, such as the special gin and tonic cocktail I drank these past few days, which was very good. The retro nautical travel design style is really cool, and every snapshot is impressive.
The key point is that the hotel's pricing is not expensive, and it offers great value for money in Suzhou, worth staying for a few days to experience.
