Shanghai | Must try tea house with cosy working vibe
Kaiji Tea House is located in Columbia Circle, and it gets particularly busy around lunchtime on weekdays. The shop has large tea jars labeled with different types of tea, giving it a strong traditional Chinese style. Many people sit inside to work, and the internet connection is very stable.
Pickled fruits: This was my first time trying fruit prepared this way. After being pickled, they have a slightly sour and sweet taste. I heard this is a method from Guangxi.
Fried fries: These are the wide kind of fries, and after being fried, they are especially crispy. Taking a bite is so satisfying!
Since I’m at a tea house, I ordered a cup of tea, and it was quite delicious!
