It’s a serene and calm place to visit, such a strong contrast with the surrounding city area. The entire garden was designed in the style of the Tang dynasty. Beautiful flowers, lotus pond, plants, pavilions, bridge and buddha pagoda. It provides a tranquil retreat especially for busy working adults. I really like the ambiance here, peaceful, and relaxing. I could spend hours here just sitting, walking and admiring the fascinating stones, rocks, and wooden structures. It also featuring the Hall of Celestial Kings and Buddha Sakyamuni. There was a nice tea house and a vegetarian restaurant there. How To Get There: Take MTR to Diamond Hill station, Exit C2. Admission: Free entrance. Opening Hours: Nunnery 9am to 4.30pm daily. It is right opposite of Chi Lin Nunnery. We enjoyed walking around and took photos of the traditional chinese architecture plus the green surroundings and all these are for free. Yes, it is open for public free of charge which was really amazing 😅. You may include this place to visit in your future itinerary and I am very sure you are going to love the ambiance here. There are some garden rules, i.e. using tripods for photography is not allowed, eating and drinking (except water) is not allowed in the garden except in designated areas, and visitors are also requested not to walk on the grass.
