Sarangchae (사랑채) refers to a part of traditional Korean houses (hanok) that is separated from the main living quarters. It was used as a temporary resting place for the owner or to receive guests. Around the Blue House, there are many unique features, such as creatively designed fire hydrants and lamp posts, which are worth capturing in photos 📷📸! "Sarangchae (사랑채)" specifically refers to a part of traditional Korean houses (hanok) that is separated from the main living quarters, serving as a temporary resting place for the owner or a space to host guests.

#JapanFlightEvent I visited on April 23rd after hearing that the double cherry blossoms at Sarangjae were in full bloom on April 18th, but since it rained over the weekend, a lot of the cherry blossoms had already fallenㅠㅠ But even the fallen cherry blossoms were so pretty!! I was able to take pictures because there were still a lot of double cherry blossoms left❤️

The reason we chose Cheongwadae Sarangchae while looking for things to do in Jongno is because of this exhibition called Light of Lotus, which will be held until December. It's a splendid representation of the night banquet of the Joseon royal family, and although it's small in scale, it looks good to look around lightly When we went in, a spot decorated with green plants and nature appeared in the middle of the darkness. The lights that seemed to be flying fireflies were softly shining, and the walls were made of mirrors, creating an optical illusion that made it look wider Next, lanterns filled the night sky. There were so many of them, and they were moving up and down while blinking. The warm light made it feel wonderful. As soon as I saw it, I was like, wow! I exclaimed in admiration. They were curved and stretched up to the ceiling, like a work of art. Since I personally like this kind of sensory thing, I liked that there was a lot to see as soon as I entered.
