Chengkan|Visit Chengkan and wish for a life without obstacles
Visit Chengkan Ancient Town, which was praised by Zhu Xi as "the two virtuous villages of Chengkan and the first village in Jiangnan", and experience the traditional New Year atmosphere of the ancient town under the Hui style art. The Yongxing Lake still preserves the intangible cultural heritage fish lanterns, red lanterns and other installations left behind by the crew of "Family Business" in which Yang Zi starred. These add a lot of prosperity and liveliness to the traditional Hui-style ancient buildings with an ink-and-wash flavor, creating a unique New Year atmosphere in the ancient town.
❤️Introduction
Chengkan was built on the mountainside and facing the river, sitting west and facing east, facing Lingjin Mountain and backed by Ge Mountain. It is known as "China's No. 1 Feng Shui Village" and "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Village". It was located and laid out according to the Bagua Feng Shui theory of the Book of Changes, which states that "yin (kan), yang (cheng), the unity of the two energies, the unity of heaven and man". At the same time, the Gulongxi River passes through the village in an "S" shape like a jade belt, forming a unique village landscape. The five streets in Chengkan Scenic Area are roughly parallel to the Zhongchuan River, extending from north to south. The alleys are perpendicular to the main streets, running from east to west. All the streets are paved with granite slabs, and the houses on both sides are lined up in an orderly manner. Speaking of the scenic spot, we must first talk about its history. This place was originally called Longxi. The Luo brothers, who were proficient in yin and yang and feng shui, came here to escape from the world. According to the eight mountains on the four sides corresponding to the eight trigrams, they dug an S-shaped canal and changed the name to Chengkan. Then began its historical chapter of more than a thousand years of producing talents from generation to generation and prosperous ancestral halls.

Must-see spots
1⃣ Yongxing Lake
Some fish lantern sets left by the crew of "Family Business" add a lot of color to the bleak winter. The same camera position as Li Xian can capture people, ancient buildings, and reflections in the water together, just like an ink painting by Su Shi. It is also the filming location of the TV series "The Big Businessman" starring Chen Xiao, Sun Qian and Zhu Yawen.
2⃣Autumn Sunshine Square
This is the most beautiful angle to view the lake. In autumn, it will be covered with colorful crops. The dancing fish lanterns, dancing grass dragons and fireworks on the Spring Festival night are also here. The filming location of "Where Are We Going, Dad?" Fireworks also cause some interference to drone signals, but it is not a big problem.
3⃣Luo Dongshu Ancestral Hall
It can be called a palace of Hui-style wood carvings, with the figures, flowers and birds between the beams and rafters delicate and intricate, fully displaying the craftsman's intention. It integrates "ancient, elegant, beautiful and grand" into one, with exquisite wood carvings and paintings, combining artistic beauty with a sense of historical weight. There are four nanmu pillars worth more than ten billion yuan; a sweet-scented osmanthus tree that is more than four hundred years old; a double-eaved hip roof (only used in palaces and Confucius Temples), three entrances and seven steps (the royal family only had three entrances and nine steps, and the civilians had two entrances and five steps at most), and eleven bays (the royal family used nine bays, with one pillar on each side). The Baolun Pavilion seems to be skirting the imperial ethics in every way, but it was also the first female shrine built in the ancestral hall.
4️⃣Bagua Arch
There are eight connected doorways at the entrance of Bagua Village, a landmark attraction, and you can check in at the same camera position as in "Joy of Life". The 13 pink arched doorways are said to correspond to the 13 hexagrams in the Book of Changes. At the end, there is a wall with the words "Yi has Taiji ☯, which gives birth to two opposites, two opposites give birth to four images, and four images give birth to eight trigrams" written on it. 13 arches pass through it, which just circle one: birth. The gate of life, maybe there is some explanation!
