Close to Lin Kai Temple and The Joy of Living Cafe, it’s an ideal spot to head to and enjoy a movie. It is a good example of an Art Deco style cinema and one of the few remaining in Macau. It was very popular, screening films from mainland China, Russia, North Korea and Vietnam and other communist countries and regions. It was soon enlarged to a total of 1,160 seats in stalls and circle levels. A large stage was installed in 1957, and variety shows became part of the programming. In 1997, the cinema was twinned, retaining the original auditorium which is still used for a dual use of films and live theatre, while the small auditorium upstairs in part of the balcony is for film use only.

We took the Cotai ferry from SheungShui in Hong Kong which cost only 175yuan for single trip. The ride it self is an hour long and can be uncomfortable for those prone to being sea sick, I’d recommend chewing some gum while on the ferry. The immigration doesn’t take long so you get to see the region and city as quick as you’d love to. The taxi ride from the port to the other parts of the city and region is pretty easy and they use their own currency however you are able to use the Hong Kong dollar as well as the Chinese yuan if you don’t have their currency. The city has so devil sights, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Big Ben, St. Paul’s cathedral and many other European city sights. Staying at my dream hotel in Penang with my parents I brought my parents to Penang for the May Day holiday, and I wanted to arrange for them to stay in a Nanyang-style hotel in the old city to give them a feel for it. However, I heard that these hotels in the old city are basically converted from old houses, and the sound insulation is very poor. I was also worried about the infrastructure and sanitary conditions of the old houses, so I booked one night without much hope, just to experience it. Two of them I would like to introduce to you are the Civil Affairs Department Building in front of the Assembly Pavilion and the main church. Hotel Environment: The hotel lobby's design showcases the designer's profound and sophisticated approach. Rejecting extravagant and cumbersome designs, from color palette to ambiance, everything is presented in a leisurely manner. The hotel's tranquility, purity, and relaxing atmosphere naturally permeate the space. Room Amenities: I really like the room's decoration and design, it's an Italian minimalist, light luxury style! The color scheme is primarily simple (the layout is very spacious!). I especially love the bathroom; it's very clean, with transparent floor-to-ceiling glass. The chain switch above is automatic. The view from the window is very bright. The partition at the entrance of the room is also great, I couldn't help but take a picture. Hmm… the large floor-to-ceiling window next to the sofa is really nice, and the scenery outside is beautiful and unbiased! The hotel facilities are very complete, I sincerely think it's very suitable for family trips!! Recommended Reasons: Finally found a relatively affordable, light luxury hotel to celebrate my birthday. It's a new hotel that opened in 2021. The main attraction is the floor-to-ceiling windows and the large projector screen, which create a comfortable feeling. The light yellow color scheme and the marble texture in the bathroom are also quite business-like. Watching movies on the large projector screen is also super awesome! A great place for friends and couples! After exploring the city, it's so comfortable to return to the hotel and take a bath. The key is that there's also self-service laundry!

I redeemed two nights at this hotel with Hyatt Category 4 certificates before Hyatt's partnership with SLH ended. Occupancy was low after the Lunar New Year, so the front desk upgraded me to a suite. This hotel has very polarized reviews, and it ultimately comes down to how much you're paying. Redeeming Hyatt Category 4 certificates, earned through five different Hyatt brands and stays, for a value of over CNY 2,200 offers excellent value. Like other SLH properties, the hotel has a secluded feel. The front desk staff is welcoming, and electric carts shuttle guests between the main lobby and the residential area. My suite, Room 5105, "Mingshe," is a ground-floor courtyard suite with a private entrance. The small courtyard's outdoor dining table offers reasonable privacy, with two trees partially obscuring the main pathway. The lounge chairs face the banquet hall, an area typically deserted. The bathroom has heated floors. The only drawback to the suite is the separated bathroom layout. The toilet is in its own room without a sink, and this area is quite dark at night, illuminated by only a single spotlight. Outside the Xixi Wetlands, about a 15–20 minute walk from the hotel, there's a shopping mall and a Sam's Club.
