The Buri Sirping Riverside Resort & Spa is located next to the Ping River in the northeast of the old city. Its exterior design adopts British colonial style architecture and its interior decoration is also relatively classical. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes’ drive from the city center and the popular Nimman district. However, due to its remote location, it is difficult to get a taxi during peak hours. It takes more than 15 minutes for Grab and Bolt to find a driver. The same is true when returning to the hotel from the city. Therefore, if you have a scheduled trip, it is best to reserve time and prepare half an hour in advance. The hotel staff was friendly, but the hotel was full when we checked in, so the deluxe king room with river view that we originally booked was finally arranged as a room with only a 1/3 river view from the balcony (and the door was on the street, but fortunately the airtight door worked). At this time, no matter how friendly the hotel staff was, it was of no use.  The room was comfortable and spacious, the mattress was a bit hard, but the overall cleaning was not detailed enough, and there was hair and dandruff left by the previous tenants on the floor and bathroom. This is still a long way from being able to boast of the image and service of a five-star hotel. That’s right! The breakfast is so-so, not too many choices, but acceptable. In the evening, drinking a little wine by the river, chatting, daydreaming, and quietly enjoying the night view with the breeze blowing is really nice! Overall, the cost-performance ratio of Buri Sriping is acceptable. After all, it is much cheaper than other brands of five-star hotels. If the software can be further enhanced, it should be even better in the future. Will Chiang Mai does have the most amazing places to stay for any budget, we stumbled up this gem on the Ping River. The original building belonged to Thai Royalty as their summer home . Subsequently it has been refurbished into a boutique Hotel with a lovely restaurant. We loved the details from the entrance through to every aspect of the hotel. Beautiful pool nestled near the statuesque Bodhi Tree. We enjoyed lunch under the tree and from starter to dessert was delicious. After landing in Chiang Mai, we arrived at the hotel. I didn't breathe a sigh of relief until I opened the door. This is my ideal look. ⛲️ The hotel name Buri Sriping is a resort. Local Lanna and colonial styles, Every corner is decorated in a simple and elegant way, 🏖️ The aesthetics are impeccable and the fragrance is just right. - The resort is close to the Mae Ping River where you can enjoy river views and cruise ships. The heated saltwater swimming pool is small but has a great view. Whether it's relaxing or swimming, it's very pleasant, 🏊 Especially at night, there are frog sounds everywhere. Frogs sit quietly on the water lilies in the freshwater pond, while goldfish swim freely. A piece of nature's peace and tranquility. 🐸 - The hotel faces the garden on one side and the road on the other. I have to praise the hotel's sound insulation. The room is equipped with double doors. Every time you open the outermost security door, When I hear the noisy sound of motorcycles outside, I will sigh: "It turns out it's so noisy outside, I can't hear it at all inside!" - Chiang Mai is very hot in summer.
