The hotel was recently visited by the popular show "Blossoms Shanghai." I chose Bellagio over the Peninsula Hotel, and it turned out to be a good choice. The room was very well maintained, from the slippers to the rounded corners of the table. The room decor was mostly dark tones. I'm not a fan of dark tones, but they do make the furniture look more high-end. The leather sofa in the room was very nice, like calfskin leather. The bedding was also very comfortable. The mattress was a little hard, which I like. The Conrad's mattress is softer, which makes my back hurt after a while, but this one didn't. The biggest surprise was the huge banquet hall I passed on my way to breakfast. It had several huge LED screens, each 5 stories high, playing animations. It was very romantic, and I wanted to get married there. There were some downsides, though. The breakfast was good quality, but there wasn't much variety. You can order a la carte.
