Last year, the cherry blossoms bloomed around March 20th, and this year they are expected to be in full bloom by the end of March. I took the MRT line 2 from SongHong Road to Lujiazui - one of the most popular check-in place in Shanghai, with just about 40 minutes plus 10-15m walk, which I found it very convenient. I was impressed at first sight by the spectacle of the 3 iconic buildings: J Hotels, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center. The Bund in Puxi, with its diverse historical buildings, witnesses Shanghai's century-old vicissitudes; while Lujiazui in Pudong showcases Shanghai's modernization and internationalization. The distant skyscrapers form a magnificent urban painting. Besides the Oriental Pearl, the Shanghai Tower is also an excellent choice for a bird's eye view. It is the tallest building in China and has the highest observation deck in the world. Standing on the observation deck, the feeling of overlooking everything is mesmerizing. 3. I came to the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, took the sightseeing tram, and crossed the bottom of the Huangpu River. On the tram, I could enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River and feel the magic of technology. Exiting the tunnel, I arrived at the Bund. The historical buildings of the Bund and the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui face each other across the river, forming a unique visual contrast.
