#weekendgetaways This was one of our best weekend retreats after spending weeks on end in the concrete jungle, feeling so utterly exhausted. Rumah Hutan or Forest Sanctuary is usually fully booked on weekends but we were so lucky that day to snag the last available room. Its a tiny 30 square metre house built right on the riverbank, surrounded by a lush garden, with its cozy balcony ideal for sitting and enjoying the sound of the flowing water. On the first day, it was overcast and the water turned really muddy. But the next day, when the weather cleared up, the water became so crystal clear that we spent hours swimming, playing and soaking in the river, the cold water so refreshing that we didn’t want to leave. #malaysiatrip I would recommend to come to this place for a quick day trip! This place not just offer experience in garden with organic vegetables, but also offers cafe named Kebun Cafe. Personally love this cafe so much because the coffee aroma just rush onto our face when we entered. Then followed by the atmosphere this cafe offers - industrial feel surrounded by garden. Do drop by to try the coffee!

#grouptravel This cafe is just located 5 minutes away from my house by driving and even since its launch around 2 years ago, it has became a good place for us and the local young people to visit to as this is the only cafe that is available in a small village here yet it offers a nice farm-themed environment overlooking the vege farm, scrumptious foods and a wide selection of coffee drinks + cakes. As a plus point, you can buy the organic vegetables here directly OR if you plan to have a 2 days 1 nights trip in the village, they do rent the accommodation as well next to the cafe!! 📍Sekeping Serendah Retreat This time I would like to introduce another glamping facility in Malaysia♪ All the rooms were villas, not tents🙌✨ The atmosphere of the bedrooms and pool was also very good, so I think it would look great on Instagram🥰 The kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils, so there was no problem🍳 I think it took a while for the hot water to come out of the shower (lol) It felt like a hideaway, so we didn't bother the neighbors and there was no problem playing together until late at night😂 If you're going glamping in Malaysia, be sure to try this place♪ ⚠️However, there are a lot of insects, so be careful not to get bitten by mosquitoes🦟😅 #glamping#villa#Malaysia#Selangor#🏕#🇲🇾

Serendah River Retreat is located in a rainforest / fruit plantation of about 5 acres with a natural river stream (Sungai Selaru) running across the site. There are two houses here, Brickhouse & Woodhouse which each has a private access of a river section. Access is via a residential suburb in Serendah & a short 5 minute drive via a small road leads you to this tranquil place, surrounded with large forest trees, away from the concrete jungle, a 40 minute drive away from the centre of Kuala Lumpur. You can find peace from the hustle & bustle of city life here. The serene & tranquil natural environment allows every guest to chill, relax, destress & rejuvenate. Air Terjun Sungai Lepoh is an easily accessible hiking, waterfall and picnic site located in Selangor State Park, just ten minutes’ drive from the popular Hutan Lipur Sungai Congkak and Gunung Nuang Recreational Forest as well as thirty minutes’ drive from the equally famous Gabai Waterfalls. The area the waterfalls are in is surrounded by homestays, adventure companies and mostly simple nature resorts, all easily spotted during the hour-long drive it takes to get there from Kuala Lumpur city center. A long street filled with shop houses and more adventure outfits leads to the starting point of a 1.5 hour hike that takes you inside the beautiful forest where the waterfalls are situated. Clearly-marked signs are in place throughout the easy to moderate trail, which contains a steep section that may slow down even the fittest of hikers. Lepoh Waterfalls are particularly known for its natural ‘slide’, which is a large, flat and extremely smooth rock formation that visitors often use to glide into a small lagoon near the bottom. #favouriteitinerary Very unique and detailed wood design and craftsmanship, this place is called Rumah Hutan Terapi Alam located in Batang Kali Selangor Malaysia. At the entrance, you can park your car then continue the journey going in using their pick-up truck transfer service. Some people come here just to enjoy the foods experience inside. But many also stay inside there’s few chalet to stay. Others come for massage spa which used natural herbs from the forest. Great experience.

Batu Bertenggek Waterfall is located in the Selangor Mountains north of Kuala Lumpur, near Kerling, about 65 km from downtown Kuala Lumpur, about 1.5 hours by car.
