It is praised as the most beautiful forest in the Tianshan region and a "green jewel of the plateau." The area boasts dense virgin forests, crystal-clear streams, layered mountains, and vast alpine meadows, creating a stunning landscape where nature, ecology, and tranquility come together. Located approximately 180 km from Yining city center, Qasi Grassland is about a 3-hour drive away. Situated southeast of Gongliu County and near Kurdening, it's the first grassland in the Ili Valley to turn green in spring. A wooden boardwalk in the main scenic area leads directly to the mountaintop.
