Family Trip to Yu Hot Springs｜Perfect Spot for Stunning Photos with Kids!

Arriving at Yu Hot Springs at 2 PM on Friday, we were pleasantly surprised right after check-in! We originally booked two double rooms, but one of them got upgraded to a spacious four-person suite—super thoughtful and perfect for families with kids. We were so happy we couldn’t stop spinning in joy! 🍽️ The food deserves all the praise! From Cantonese stir-fry for lunch, freshly made wontons at the breakfast buffet, to freshly grilled seafood at the temple fair, everyone in the family couldn’t stop raving about the meals. Just remember not to overeat at lunch like we did, or you’ll lack the energy to enjoy the temple fair dinner! Must-try dishes include bird’s nest soup, Wagyu sukiyaki, and handmade glutinous rice cakes that were a hit with the kids. 🏠 The rooms were clean and thoughtfully equipped with swimming bags and small shower stools, making bath time for kids super convenient! While Changsheng Manor is new, its loft design might not be ideal for families with elderly or young children. Instead, opt for Yunlai Guesthouse, which is just a half-minute walk away and also has exclusive temple fair access. We were thrilled to find tiny-sized kimonos for our 21-month-old baby—dressing her up for adorable Japanese-style photos was simply irresistible! 💆♀️ Don’t miss the Thai massage! The Thai therapists were professional, and the massage left us feeling instantly relaxed. Although the hot spring area isn’t large, it’s impeccably clean with pools refreshed every two hours. Yunlai and Changsheng have exclusive private pools that are quiet and serene, while the outdoor pool features a bubble pool. The staff, including a kind elderly lady, even played with the kids, making it incredibly family-friendly. 🎮 The temple fair isn’t just about food; the game area is a hidden gem! Activities like arrow throwing, lantern riddles, and virtual gambling let you win play coupons that can be exchanged for small gifts (limited options but enough to delight the kids). Summary: From service to facilities, everything is perfect for families with kids! The staff’s warmth feels like home, and there are delightful surprises for families everywhere.
