Zhoushan | Dongji Island 'The Palace of Potala on the Sea' is worth a visit

Dongji Island has well-established accommodation and dining facilities. The homestays and restaurants are built along the island, closely packed, and from the filming location of 'The Continent', it indeed has the taste of the Palace of Potala on the sea. The sightseeing car departs from the passenger terminal and stops at the main attractions in the following order: 1️⃣ Dongxiang Pavilion: Going down, there is Beicun Pier closer to the sea, where there are no beaches, only rocky cliffs. 2️⃣ Dongji Pavilion: The best choice for getting up early in the dark to watch the sunrise, the scenery here is excellent. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the homestay area. 3️⃣ 'The Continent' filming location: The place where the house was burned down in the movie, now it's a rebuilt cafe. 4️⃣ Cai Bo Gong Statue: This statue also appeared in the movie. 5️⃣ The popular lighthouse: Just walk down from the Cai Bo Gong Statue, and around 5:30 pm they will come to drive people away. Take photos early. 6️⃣ Attractions reachable on foot: Dongji Historical Museum, The Second Hometown of Soldiers, etc. There are also some cultural and creative shops to explore on your own. 🏠 Accommodation: The higher the location of the homestay, the better the view and the more expensive the price. The air on the island is humid, so turn on the air conditioning to dehumidify, even the camera got foggy the next day 🍤 Cuisine: Mainly seafood, the taste is all similar, just choose one with a good view and reasonable price.
