1. Address - Tianmen Mountain Highlights - Cableway and Heaven's gate Rating - 4/5 when you buy your tickets you get to opt for the express cableway up, down or both ways. While speed might seem convenient you definitely should take the normal cableway ( which is one of the longest in the world). It takes a few minutes longer but is definitely worth it. 2. Address - National Forest Park Highlights - Avatar mountains Rating - 5/5 This was the main sight that we wanted to see and somehow we stumbled upon it on our first day in Zhangjiajie. If you are wanting to see the avatar mountain I would suggest booking into a hotel that is close by. We did this but ended up booking on the wrong side of the park so our hotel was far from any towns but it was a great experience regardless. We spent hours walking around the mountains. While it can get quite crowded in certain spots, with people trying to get the perfect selfie, the Park is so big that it is easy to lose the crowds and escape into nature. 3. Address - Grand Canyon + Glass bridge Highlights - Walking in the grad canyon Rating - 3/5 This was an impromptu stop on our trip and although my legs were in pain after walking down the endless stairs to get into the Canyon, it was still enjoyable if you are looking for some inexpensive sightseeing and adventure. There are many ticket options available but the park closes at a certain time so we opted for the cheapest ticket, which meant that most of the work had to be done by us to get around.
