Zermatt and the Matterhorn peak! Just astonishing

Switzerland is expensive.🇨🇭 However, it is also super pretty. Most of the places in Switzerland look out of a move or a beautiful paint. The mountains, the lakes, the skies, all very, very beautiful. This time for me was a short one, just a few days in #zermatt, a cute little town in the Switzerland’s Valais canton. It is a well know location for #skiing #climbing and #hiking. If you are lucky enough to pass by this beautiful place, you should definitely go for a hike and enjoy the beautiful view of the #matterhorn , the most iconic Swiss mountain (it was also featured on the Toblerone chocolate until a few years ago). The Matterhorn is beautiful, and the 5 lakes hike is a great way to hike the area while enjoying the view (the hike should take around 2 hours and 30 minutes but you can enjoy the panorama and spend a few hours up there). To get to the starting point you need to take a train from Zermatt to Sunnega and a cable car to Blauherd - cost around 40 Swiss Franc return). In Zermatt town you can also try local dishes such us #cheesefondue , #raclette and #rösti . All very yummy, all very “fatty” but still worth to try once in a lifetime 😅 I haven’t skied in ages, but it would be great to come back here in winter and check the place out with snow.
