From Hangzhou, it’s about a 2-hour drive to Yiwu’s Lizhu Village, also known as the so-called “Little Dali”. Honestly? It looks great in photos, but in reality, it’s a bit underwhelming. The village is small — a simple local spot that’s been lightly renovated for tourism. There are a few typical photo spots and some small, trendy shops, which make it Instagram-friendly, but that’s about it. If you’re visiting with kids, there are a few DIY activities like tie-dye workshops, pottery, or a little garden farm — nice for families, but not a major highlight. To be fair, some of the cafés here are lovely.
