Escape to Hongcun and listen to the stories hidden within its white walls and black tiles.

The ancient villages surrounding Hongcun look similar, but I still recommend choosing Hongcun, as the scenery within is unique. You can choose to visit a few of the remaining villages. Xidi costs ¥94, while Nanping and Lucun are free. ❤️Vehicles are not allowed inside Hongcun. Cars need to be parked in parking lot P at the entrance. Whether you stay inside or outside the village, you need to buy a ticket. Tickets are valid for 3 days and allow 24-hour access. Anyone who says you don't need a ticket is lying~ ❤️Hongcun is really beautiful for taking photos in the morning, but you must get up early! The morning mist when the sun rises is truly stunning! ❤️Nanhu Academy and Nanhu Lake are connected. The gate to Nanhu Lake is the South Gate, opposite which is the parking lot. Outside the West Gate are two ancient ginkgo trees, so don't go the wrong way. ❤️Don't buy souvenirs inside the scenic area, as prices are high. It's recommended to buy them at supermarkets outside the scenic area. ❤️If you're not driving, you can take the high-speed train to Huangshan North Railway Station, then take the No. 10 tourist bus directly to Hongcun for ¥8. A 10-minute walk from Chengzhi Hall will take you to Moon Pond. The scenery is truly beautiful, and it's the same scene depicted on the scenic stamp issued in 1982.
