A pleasant afternoon at Yongmunsa Temple in Wonju, listening to the sound of water along a lush forest path

After the rainy season, the scorching heat began. I visited Wonju Yongmunsa Temple, which has a lush forest path and valley. Surprisingly, there was a ginkgo tree that was over 1,100 years old at Yongmunsa Temple. I promised to visit again in the fall when the leaves change color. After looking around the elegant Daeungjeon and pagoda of Yongmunsa Temple, I walked down the lush forest path and was so captivated by the refreshing sound of the stream that I just soaked my feet in it and took a rest. I felt like this was the perfect summer vacation spot while experiencing the cold and beautiful stream water. #ExcitingSummerVacation
