PUPPY LOVE, a pure ice cream shop hidden in an alley, has an exterior made of a lot of wood and the big Chinese characters "Pure Love". The interior of the shop is simple with a retro feel. What's special is that the counter is covered with a curtain, and you have to ring the bell for the boss to appear, or wait for the boss to finish making the previous customer's ice cream before ordering. It's a one-person job, so you have to be determined to wait! I ordered the expensive "Ugly Roasted Tea Ice". The hand-brushed roasted tea from Marukyu Koyamaen has a bitter taste but a charming tea aroma, and is paired with a little bit of the sweetness of Mandan honey red beans, which is just the right embellishment. What I have to praise is the pure homemade mascarpone cheese, which is the soul of this ice product. The sweet, salty and fragrant taste brings out the bittersweetness of the roasted tea ice, forming a perfect combination.
