[Star] Calligraphy and sculpture are the core contents (the epitaph of Qu Tutong, one of the 12 most famous people in Lingyan Pavilion, the epitaph of Liu, the wife of Li Deyu, the prime minister of Tang Dynasty, the epitaph of Zhang Ziwen, one of the three great masters of modern times, and Kang Youwei's "Zhelu" etc.) [Star]Xiwo Grottoes (Northern Wei Dynasty) were relocated to the museum due to the Xiaolangdi project. There are fewer tourists in the scenic area. On that day, I met a group of art students on the tour. The highlights were architecture, calligraphy, and grottoes. There were brief introductions to some key stone carvings, so you can do some homework in advance. The content is quite specialized and generally not interesting, and the aesthetics can easily get tiring. The tour lasts about 2 hours, and combined with the New Museum, Zhang Feng's former residence, etc., you can spend most of the day there. Self-driving is the most convenient. There are buses in Luoyang city, or you can go to Xin'an County to take the bus first, and then wait for the bus at the intersection of the scenic area on the return trip.
