[Andaz Xiamen] Executive Suite | This is Jaya's Nanyang Mansion

Andaz Xiamen is a traditional and modern masterpiece with a strong Nanyang style created by Jaya. It wasn't until I stayed in the Executive Suite that I realized this is a very Jaya room. Unlike the passionate red of the basic suite, the Executive Suite is much more stable, presenting a very traditional Nanyang mansion, with carvings and rattan weaving running through the living room to the bedroom. More attention is paid to details than the basic suite, and the details such as lighting and artwork are well done. The public area is laid out with a hollow lobby and curved corridors, decorated with tall green plants and rich artworks, creating a tropical Nanyang-style urban vacation feeling. The all-day dining restaurant "No. 101" is a Fujian cuisine restaurant led by a Cantonese chef, which is worthy of the lacquered signboard of the Hyatt restaurant, but the breakfast is slightly simple, and the happy hour is much less than when it opened four years ago, which is very different from Andaz Shenzhen Bay. Room selection tips: Basic room: Basic, view, and deluxe are all regular room types, the difference is only the floor and orientation, not much difference. The bathtubs are all ordinary long bathtubs. The premium room is a corner room, which is much better than the basic room. In addition to the two glass windows, the bathtub is also an embedded round bathtub against the wall. Andaz Suite (Basic Suite): The area is equivalent to a corner room + a basic room, and the layout is very good. The bathtub has also been replaced with a more popular central round freestanding bathtub. This room type also has two "Piano Music Suites" that echo the Xiamen style, which are generally not included in the upgrade range. Executive Suite: The area is equivalent to a corner room + 2 basic rooms, with a separate dining room and kitchen, and the bedroom also has a separate long desk.
