The Xiamen Marriott Hotel & Conference Centre and Courtyard by Marriott opened for business on August 3, 2018, located on Haicang Avenue CBD, which is 6 kilometers along the sea in Haicang District of Xiamen City. Situated in the SOHO Thai Land Haixi Center, it faces Xiamen Island across the sea and is the first complex hotel under the Marriott International Group in Fujian Province. Highlights: The hotel is new, with excellent facilities. 65% of the rooms offer a stunning sea view of Xiamen Island and Gulangyu Island, with the 34-corner rooms having the best view. The indoor constant temperature swimming pool has a first-class view and is comfortably warm. Downsides: The outdoor infinity pool is drained, affecting the view and photo experience. The executive lounge does not handle CI and CO, the breakfast does not have fresh juice, and the variety is also average. Hexi Tower (with a revolving staircase) is the starting point of the Mountain and Sea Health Trail (the essence lies in sections 1, 6, and 7), which is the newest hotspot in Xiamen. The TV series 'The Beginning' was also filmed here. It's a 10-minute walk from the Thai Land Marriott to the Haicang Bay Park subway station, take one stop to the Cruise Center subway station, and a few minutes' walk will get you there.
