||Here are a few seasides I've visited and recommend. I've compiled a list of nine places to watch the sea, with a rating for each. All of these spots are around Xiamen and the photos are all unedited from the original camera, so you can trust their authenticity! 1️⃣ Dongshan Island🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 1-2 days The movie 'The Left Ear' was filmed here. The water is incredibly clear, and you can see the blue sky, white clouds, and the sea along the coastline, while the interior offers a simple and comfortable life in a fishing village. You must stay overnight and watch the sunrise the next day; it will not disappoint. 2️⃣ Emerald Bay🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 1-2 hours The water in Emerald Bay is clear and the sand is fine. It's definitely worth a visit. 3️⃣ Guanyin Mountain🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 2-4 hours The water at Guanyin Mountain is not very clear. When I visited, the water was quite murky despite the good weather. It's still very comfortable and pleasant to set up a parasol on the beach, lie down, and enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. 4️⃣ Huangcuo Beach🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 1-2 days Huangcuo Beach is beautiful at any time of day, with sunrise in the morning, sea views during the day, and sunset in the evening. The water quality is excellent, and the facilities are well-maintained. It's a must-visit spot in Xiamen! 5️⃣ Pingtan Island🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 1-2 days Pingtan Island is famous for its windmill sea. Unfortunately, the weather was bad when I visited, and Pingtan Island was shrouded in fog. Interested friends can check out photos posted by other users on my Pingtan Island post. It's truly beautiful, and I will definitely revisit. 6️⃣ Meizhou Island🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 1-2 days Meizhou Island is a five-star scenic area with beautiful scenery and well-developed infrastructure. It's very comfortable to visit, and you can not only enjoy the sea but also experience the culture of Mazu. 7️⃣ Gulangyu Island🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 3-5 hours When visiting Gulangyu Island, it's best to go during the off-season when there are fewer people. Stroll along the coastline and climb up to Sunlight Rock to overlook the panoramic view. Every street and ancient building here is worth taking the time to appreciate. The only downside is that the water is not very clean, with trash floating near the shore, and it's not very attractive if the weather is bad. 8️⃣ Ten-mile Long Dam🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 2-4 hours I've been to Xiamen many times, but this was my first visit to the Ten-mile Long Dam. I can only say, why did I discover this treasure so late! The overpass crossing the sea, the sunset over the sea, the orange sea, the sunset cars, the lawn music, all make this place surrounded by romance. (There's a post dedicated to the Ten-mile Long Dam sunset on my homepage.) 9️⃣ Haicang Bay Park🌟🌟🌟🌟 Travel Time: 1-2 hours The water here is particularly blue, and the environment is very clean. It's great for a walk. ‼️When going to the seaside, the weather is definitely the most important factor. The scenery is completely different on sunny days compared to cloudy ones, so be sure to check the weather before you set out!
