At the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, hear the echoes of the Tang Dynasty.

The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda was first built in the third year of the Yonghui era of the Tang Dynasty (652 AD). Originally, it was a Buddhist pagoda constructed to store the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back by Master Xuanzang from India. The seven-story brick and wood structure stands tall in the southern part of Xi'an, witnessing the glory of the Tang Dynasty and the vicissitudes of the past millennium. From the top of the pagoda, you can get a panoramic view of Xi'an city. During the day, the view is expansive, and at night, the city lights are dazzling. In front of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, the North Square Musical Fountain performs regularly every night. It is one of the largest in Asia, with spectacular light and water shows. The nearby Great Tang All Day Mall is not far away. After dusk, you can continue your walk there to experience a different kind of Tang Dynasty night scene. Transportation Information Take Metro Line 3 or Line 4 and get off at the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda Station. It is within walking distance. There are also many bus routes that stop nearby, making transportation convenient.
