Emperor Wen of Sui thought the word "Qu" was unlucky, so he changed the name to "Furong Pond" and built a detached palace "Furong Garden" beside the pond. There is also a garden called Furong Garden very close to Qujiang Lake, where you can visit. During the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong restored the name of "Qujiang Pond" and carried out large-scale expansion of Qujiang, making it a famous tourist attraction. Qujiang Lake reached the pinnacle of its garden construction in the Tang Dynasty and became a gathering place for royal relatives, dignitaries and literati. Emperor Xuanzong of Tang was still very magnanimous and was not afraid of the bad luck of Qujiang Lake. There used to be a thin layer of water surface like a wetland here. There was a shallow spring near today's Hanyao, flowing all the year round. I don't know why it was blocked by the garrison and the route was changed, or why it was no longer known. Until now, Qujiang Lake has been restored and has gradually become famous as a residential area with a relatively good environment in the southern suburbs. You can take a look around when you come. There are countless ancient horse hitching posts and various stone artworks inside. This should be a great achievement of the Qujiang Management Committee. This kind of protection has probably appreciated greatly by now, and people who come here can enjoy the lake view. You can also go to the nearby Golden Land Plaza to have a delicious meal.
