The main body is about 88 meters high, and including the pedestal, it is over 100 meters tall, so it catches the eye even from afar before entering the entrance. The statue has one hand down and the other hand is at chest height with the index finger raised in a typical preaching pose, and when you face it head on, you feel an overwhelming presence. You have to climb the stairs to get to the statue, and you can leisurely view it while passing by rest areas and subsidiary temples along the way. The surrounding area is like a Buddhist cultural park, so it is operated as a complex tourist attraction beyond simply viewing the statue. The admission fee is a little expensive, but overall, it is a space where you can feel religious piety and the great beauty of sculpture.
