The murals and exhibitions are captivating. The hotel has 500 guest rooms, including 55 suites, some with river views. The Executive Lounge on the 40th floor offers a spacious area with panoramic city views. The fitness center on the 7th floor includes a heated pool, gym, and table tennis room. 2. Check-in Details 💎Member Tier: Titanium 🛏️Room Type: Executive King Room 💰Cost: ￥655 - ￥180 (including 2,000 points and 2,407 member points) = ￥475 🎁Welcome Gift: A complimentary bottle of red wine and a nut platter (choice of welcome points or snacks). 3. Stay Experience 🏘️️️Room Type/Layout: I stayed in the Executive King Room with a great view. The room is decorated in a vintage style, with carpeted floors and old photos of Wuhan adorning the wall above the bed, creating a charming ambiance. The suite layout separates the bedroom and living room upon entry. While this requires a slight detour, it ensures good privacy. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The mattress had just the right firmness, providing a comfortable sleep. The hotel's fitness center is well-equipped. The pool has two lifeguards on duty. However, the hallway between the changing room and the pool lacks heating, making it chilly to walk through in swimwear during winter. I recommend bringing a bathrobe from the room. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing was excellent, effectively blocking out external noise. The room was clean and well-maintained. 🍽️Dining: - Executive Lounge: Located on the 40th floor, the lounge boasts luxurious decor reminiscent of the St. Regis, with stunning high-rise city views. The afternoon tea and happy hour offerings were decent, with sushi and a good selection of alcoholic beverages. However, during the Lunar New Year period, the lounge was overcrowded. Afternoon tea only offered two types of fruit, and happy hour had only three vegetarian dishes with no meat options, which impacted the experience. - Breakfast: As breakfast wasn't served in the lounge, I dined on the 2nd floor. Due to full occupancy during the Lunar New Year, there was a queue. The breakfast selection was extensive, featuring local specialties like reganmian, doupi, and mianwo, as well as Xi'an roujiamo, although the taste was average. 💁‍♂️Service: The doorman was very welcoming, proactively opening the car door and handling luggage. However, the front desk staff wasn't very efficient during check-in. Overall, the service was acceptable but could be improved. 💗Other Tips: The hotel is quite far from the subway station, about a 20-minute walk, which is inconvenient for tourists. It's more suitable for business travelers. The exhibitions in the hotel lobby are unique and worth checking out. 5. Conclusion The hotel has been open for a while, and some areas show signs of age, but it's generally well-maintained. While the location isn't ideal for tourists and the service could be better, the room decor, lounge views, and variety of dining options are commendable. Overall, if you're traveling for business and aren't too particular about location or service, this hotel is worth considering.
