The Windsor Long Walk

This one is for the one who wants to exercise while traveling. The Long Walk of Windsor is indeed a long walk. It’s a 2.64 mile (4.2 Km) long straight path which runs from the Windsor Castle through the Windsor Castle Park and also the Deer Park to the Statue of King George III located on the place called Snow Hill. It’s a very comfortable walk and the road and terrain is easy to walk but the visitors must pay attention to the safety while crossing the fairly surprisingly located busy road which runs across the path about in the middle. The gates near the last third are meant to keep deer park animals from going out. If you visit the village of Windsor or the castle and have a few hours of extra time to spend, doing the long walk and having a picnic near the path is a good idea in my opinion.
