if you hear the name Glodok, most of what comes to mind is an area that sells various electronic goods, both new and used, and complete with the dynamics of Chinese family life that has been there for decades. (or maybe hundreds of years?) Meta, the owner of @met_glodok with all her creativity and educational background, had the chance to share with us her desire to try to revive the life of the city of Glodok. One of the things she can do is build this art space but wrapped in a coffee shop concept. of course, the friendliness of the owner to visitors really opens up new insights, about the background of Met Glodok's existence. because it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, be prepared to queue a bit and share seats with other visitors if it's full. with a limited seating area, it actually makes the experience of having morning coffee here more intimate. local wisdom that feels very unique, so we went home with a new experience. 👍🏻 📍 @met_glodok Jl.
