𓊡 Wan Chai hidden gem restaurant! New Asian fusion cuisine

𓈁 𓈁 𓈁 The name of the store Wakaran is really good, it feels like a fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. The main dishes here are Chinese, Western and Japanese fusion dishes. Chef @cheftommy_tsui makes good use of various ingredients and combines them with cooking methods from different countries to bring guests a brand new dining experience. The two of us ordered the Premium Set ($688/pp), and the menu was indeed full of surprises and very impressive! 𓄗 Pork Fritters Pan Fried Bun The pork fried buns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. When you bite into them, you will find the pork filling is full of gravy. It is served with green apple puree to reduce the greasiness, and sesame crisps as garnish to make the taste more layered. 𓄗 Beef Tartlet Italian beef tenderloin is used, with a soft texture, placed on top of crispy crackers, and sprinkled with sweet and fragrant salted egg yolk. The bite size is delicious and not greasy, it is really excellent! 𓄗 Kanpachi Crudo The sea bream sashimi is very delicious, and adding cherry tomatoes and plum jelly makes the sashimi taste more appetizing and refreshing. 𓄗 Yam Som-O Must order! The sweetness and strong shrimp flavor of Spanish red shrimp will amaze you once you try it! Served with sea urchin sauce, the flavor is rich and unforgettable! The side dish also includes grapefruit pulp mixed with nuts, which refreshes the taste buds and adds a crispy texture. It also comes with butter bread and seaweed butter. Half of the bread can be dipped in butter, and the other half can be dipped in sea urchin sauce. One bread has two tastes, which is rich and satisfying. 𓄗 Saikyo Yaki With black cod rich in fat as the main dish, paired with delicious clams and fragrant Sichuan rice noodles, you can once again experience the unique and surprising taste of the fusion of East and West. 𓄗 Ode to Pigeon Personally recommend! The 72-hour aged pigeon is smoked with lemongrass until medium-rare, with crispy skin and tender meat, and served with sweet and sour appetizing hawthorn sauce. You really can't get this anywhere else! 𓄗 Twice M7 Wagyu M7 Wagyu is cooked using the barbecued pork method. It actually has a beef flavor and the texture is indeed like barbecued pork! It comes with a small bowl of rice, which seems to pay tribute to the barbecued pork rice. However, the combination of high-quality ingredients and ingenious cooking methods creates a unique taste that is truly amazing! 𓄗 Moutai Tiramisu Tiramisu is not ordinary at all. Moutai is used, and the aroma of wine overflows when you put it in your mouth. Crunchy chocolate sugar is sprinkled on the dessert surface. You usually use coffee powder or chocolate powder for a better taste. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Wan Chai! Every dish is thoughtful and surprising.
