Authentic Japanese Ramen and Generous Grilled Eel at Sachiko-ya, Wan Chai

Sachiko-ya (Wan Chai) Shop on the ground floor of Wai Cheong Building, 5-9A Lee Tung Street, Wan Chai Walking around Wan Chai and feeling like having some Japanese ramen🍜, I found this place to have a bite. There's a good variety of ramen, as well as appetizers and rice bowls🥰 Crab Roe Salad There's a generous amount of crab roe and crab sticks, paired with shredded cucumber for a super refreshing taste. Japanese-style Gyoza🥟 The gyoza skins are thin with plenty of filling, and there's a thin crispy layer on the outside. The texture is perfect, and they even come with egg yolk sauce on top, which makes the overall flavor even better. Red Warrior Spicy Ramen You can choose the level of spiciness, and I went for level 2, which was just right. The spicy aroma is quite prominent and very appetizing. There are also two portions of char siu; one is thick with alternating layers of fat and lean meat, which I absolutely love. The other is thin and lean, which soaks up the soup nicely. The soft-boiled egg is also delicious, and the noodles are al dente and tasty🤤 Grilled Eel Don The grilled eel is very fragrant, and the portion is quite generous. The flesh is thick and tender, flavorful, and the sauce is sweet and tasty, making it very delicious. Turns out there are single and two-person meals available in the evening☺️, which are quite a good deal!
