A historic site that tells the story of the tragedy before the unification of the Ryukyu Kingdom

This is the grave of the king and his family who ruled Okinoerabujima around 1400 under the rule of the Ryukyu Kingdom. The entire island was formed by the uplift of a coral reef, and this grave was also carved into the reef. It is a historical site that is sparsely visited, and I spent some time reflecting on the tragedy of that time. #Trip to Kagoshima
