Travelling solo in Central Vietnam!

First, I went to Hue from Hanoi on the Rahman Express (sleeping car train). Snacks and sweets are included, and tea or coffee is served in the morning. It was a comfortable train journey. It seems that each carriage is operated by a different company, and each carriage has its own name (Rahman Express, Lotus something, etc.). In Hue, I bought a set ticket and went around the Royal Palace and three temples. Some recent online information said that there were many bicycle rental shops, but I couldn't find any. There was a bicycle rental service that could be used with an app, but my smartphone showed that the area was not eligible, so I couldn't download the app. Therefore, I moved around each facility by Grab motorbike. It seems that it is common to join a tour, and there was always a bus parked at the entrance. I didn't like the time constraints, so I went around on my own this time, but I recommend joining a tour. Next, I took a local bus from the bus station (there are two, but they are in the south) to Da Nang. I thought about going to Hoi An, but there doesn't seem to be a local bus, and it seems that the general way is to take a shuttle bus for tourists, and I gave up because the schedule didn't work out. In Da Nang, I went to My Son ruins, which I was looking forward to the most. I wanted to join a tour, but all online reservations have to be made at least two days in advance! I asked the hotel desk, but they said that even if I went alone, the price was for two people or more, so I gave up. I ordered an ao dai at Han Market in the morning, so I made sure to pick it up in the afternoon. From there, I took a Grab motorbike taxi to My Son ruins. It's difficult to catch a ride back, so negotiate to have them wait. (The driver probably doesn't want to go a long distance back without anyone, so he's happy to agree.) At My Son ruins, I rented an audio guide and went around at my own pace. It seems that the tour doesn't go to all the areas, so there were areas with a lot of tourists and areas with only a few people. It's tiring to go around everything, so if you only want to see the highlights, I recommend a tour. After sightseeing, I got back on my motorbike and returned to Da Nang city. I picked up the Ao Dai I ordered at the market and finished. I flew back to Hanoi from Da Nang Airport. There is a bus to the airport, but I was staying at a hotel far from the route, so I walked to the airport because I had to go back to pick up my luggage lol It was good that the city and the airport were close. It was a 3-day, 2-night trip, but it was a fulfilling trip. I hope everyone will learn from me and make sure to prepare in advance, such as booking a local tour lol #AsiaTravelRecord
