That Luang, Vientiane: Symbol of Faith

Pha That Luang (also known as the Big Stupa) is one of the most sacred sites in Laos and a symbol of Laotian faith. Standing 45 meters high and featuring a golden pagoda, it is a must-see for all visitors to Laos. Tourists can visit during these times, but the best time to visit is in the morning or afternoon because the sunlight is not too strong and the photos are beautiful.
