The Mysterious Buddhist Temple: A Temple Run Experience

Xiang Khuan Temple, also known as Susan Phut or the Buddha Park, is one of the most popular attractions in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Located about 25 kilometers southeast of Vientiane along the Mekong River, the temple houses nearly a hundred extraordinary, diverse, and bizarre statues of Buddhist and Hindu deities. The temple was designed and built by the monk Luang Pu, integrating Hindu and Buddhist philosophical thoughts. Mythology and sculpture art blend seamlessly, creating this mysterious temple. Visiting it feels like experiencing a temple run adventure. Transportation Guide: Take bus number 14 from the central bus station in downtown Vientiane, and the final stop is right at the entrance of Xiang Khuan Temple. For the return trip, wait for the bus on the opposite side of the road. The bus fare is 18,000 LAK, and the temple entrance fee is 40,000 LAK.
