The main temple of the Zen temple that has inherited Chinese culture

#aprilblooms The main bast of the Ogi sect, one of the three Zen sects in Japan along with the Rinzai sect and the Soto sect. It was founded in the first year of Kanbun (1661) by a Chinese high priest, Yinyuan Zen Master, and you can fully feel the Chinese culture of the time, such as buildings, rituals, and cuisine. The building, which is symmetrically arranged around the main hall, incorporates the architectural style and design that were popular in China at the end of the Ming Dynasty when the Ingen Zen master came to Japan. Many of the valuable buildings with a history of 360 years since their founding have been designated as important cultural properties of the country. Teak wood from South Asia and Southeast Asia is also used as building materials, and the atmosphere is different from general temple architecture in Japan is impressive.
