I recently visited this place and was impressed by the exhibition that tells the story of the Thai-Chinese community in Udon Thani that has been around for more than 120 years. Inside the center, you will find stories of trade and education of Thai-Chinese people, including the integration of 9 organizations and 11 surnames that play an important role in the community. Another highlight that I liked was learning about the traditional Chinese tea ceremony, selling tea in blocks, and the exhibition about the history of Confucius, a famous philosopher in Chinese history who played an important role in philosophy and education. There is also a Hall of Fame that honors those who have sacrificed for the Chinese community for you to see. The center also has a 99-meter long golden dragon that is displayed in the Thung Si Mueang Festival every December. This place is not only a place of learning, but also has a shady atmosphere around the pavilion in the middle of the water that provides peace and relaxation. With a garden decorated with Chinese auspicious trees such as dragon beard trees, willow trees and black bamboo trees.
