🇯🇵Okinawa DMM Kariyushi Aquarium

I went to the Kariyushi Aquarium, which just opened in 2020. The thing that surprised me the most was that there was a glass window above the tank, so you could sit and watch from above. There were fish, of course, but also reptiles and other animals, and since it was nap time, the armadillo was sleeping with its belly exposed. lol You can touch starfish and fish, feed the animals, and it's designed to take great photos, so it was more fun than I expected and I stayed longer than I planned! There was also a lottery for stuffed animals, and I could choose from three types: a turtle, a jellyfish, and a sea anemone. I wanted to take home a cute, big one, but thinking about it, I was glad I got a small one because I had luggage for the plane. It's in the same building as the shopping mall and seems to have the same parking lot, and I was with a local friend, so I was able to get in easily, but in my case, if I only had the car navigation system, I would have ended up going around the area several times without realizing it. 💦 There are various shopping malls, so it seems like you can enjoy the whole day!
