Today, let me share some tips and experiences with you～ 🌟 Recommended Itinerary Tokyo 2 days - Kamakura 1 day - Hakone 2 days - Izu 2 days. 🗺️ The attractions around Tokyo include two major areas: Kanto and Chubu, which can be divided into four travel routes. 1️⃣ Tokyo - Yokohama - Kamakura - Hakone - Izu (East Izu + South Izu) This is a classic Tokyo suburban route, following the coastline southward. You can enjoy a seamless train journey, or opt for day trips from Tokyo to specific cities or attractions you want to visit. Yokohama: 1 day A beautiful and relaxing seaside city very close to Tokyo, perfect for leisurely strolls. Kamakura: 1 day Famous for its connection to "Slam Dunk," Kamakura offers stunning views of Mount Fuji and the sea on clear days. With plenty of attractions, it's common to include Kamakura in a Tokyo trip for one or two days. Hakone: 1-2 days A volcanic hot spring resort town where lakes, mountains, and traditional Japanese architecture blend harmoniously. You'll feel embraced by nature here. The transportation routes within the area are well-planned, allowing for a smooth journey: boat rides on the lake, cable car rides up the mountain, and mountain trains back down. Public buses are the main mode of transport within the city, so plan your time accordingly. Izu: Located in the Chubu region, Izu is divided into four sub-areas: East, South, West, and North. East and South Izu are accessible by train, offering stunning ocean views and hot springs. ✅ East Izu: 1 day You'll be captivated by the beauty of Mount Omuro and Jogasaki Coast in Izu, where lush green and deep blue merge into a breathtaking natural masterpiece! ✅ South Izu: 1 day Situated at the southernmost tip of Izu, this area boasts more dramatic and powerful landscapes compared to the gentle scenery of East Izu. The waves here are particularly striking. However, the main drawback is the distance between attractions, and public transportation can be inconvenient. 2️⃣ Classic Route: Tokyo - Kawaguchiko This route is essentially a Mount Fuji-focused itinerary.
