Previously, I stayed at Andaz Tokyo, where the view of Tokyo Tower was stunning, but the overall experience left much to be desired. In contrast, The Prince Gallery captivated me instantly with its unique tranquil ambiance and thoughtful details. Upon entering the hotel, the immediate impression is one of peace and quiet, as if a barrier separates it from the bustling city. The guest rooms are a perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality, with a well-thought-out layout. Warm wooden furniture and soft lighting create a cozy atmosphere, while amenities like hair curlers, elegant pajamas, and a complete set of facial care products reflect meticulous attention to guests' needs. The pool area is another highlight. Although it charges 3,300 yen for external guests, Marriott Platinum members and above can enjoy it for free. Compared to the dim and enclosed bathing area at Andaz, the spacious and bright Japanese-style hot spring here offers a refreshing experience. While soaking, you can gaze at the majestic Imperial Palace and the modern Tokyo Skytree, making it both a relaxing and visually stunning experience. In terms of location, the hotel is conveniently situated above Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, providing easy access to Tokyo's popular attractions and shopping districts. Just across the street are Bic Camera and lively commercial streets filled with supermarkets, restaurants, and small shops, brimming with local charm—a stark contrast to the desolate surroundings of Andaz. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast. While the taste and presentation of the dishes are not perfect, considering its high value for money, exceptional experience, and unparalleled views, The Prince Gallery Kioicho Hotel remains the top choice for a stay in Tokyo.
