#springwander The museum was built in his later years by Seiichi Shirai, a representative architect of Japan, who was called "Architect of Philosophy" and was active in the Showa period. The front of the building is accented by a golden door on the gently curved exterior wall with a slightly pink granite named by Mr. Shirai Red Cloud Stone, creating a dramatic atmosphere. There are places where you can feel Mr.'s talent everywhere in the facility. From the bridge over the atrium in the centre that runs through the four levels, you can see the oval sky at the top and the fountain spring at the bottom, creating an atmosphere of another world. The spiral staircase that focusses on curves and the light ceiling of the entrance using natural stone onyx are also a must-see. Many visitors visit for the purpose of architecture itself, and architectural tours by curators are held regularly.
