Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building

This place is a total hidden gem! The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building has one of the best views of the city—and it’s completely free! I took the elevator up to the observation deck, and the view was just stunning. Seeing Tokyo Tower, Skytree, and even Mount Fuji on a clear day was unforgettable. There was a cute little souvenir shop, and they even had a café where I grabbed a drink while enjoying the view. Since it’s free, it’s a great alternative to Tokyo Skytree if you’re on a budget. The building itself is super cool, with a futuristic design that makes it look like something out of a sci-fi movie. It’s located in Shinjuku, so after visiting, I explored the area and found amazing food spots. If you love city views but don’t want to spend money, this is the perfect place to visit!
