[Gofuku Inari Shrine/Tokyo] A unique fox statue welcomes you

Gofuku Inari Shrine in Nakano Ward, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 After turning the corner from the flower shop along Ome Kaido, you can see the iconic vermilion torii gate ⛩ of Inari Shrine. It's a small shrine, but there are quite a few things to see 👀🙌 The pair of fox statues beside the main shrine are slender, with sharp, slanted eyes‼ ️ On the other hand, the fox statues on the right side have a completely different appearance. The fox statue, which has something like a scroll 📜 on it, has surprisingly thick eyebrows that are also sunken. It's almost comical😊 If you look closely at the shrine, you can see the carvings of a rising dragon and a descending dragon🐉👍 The origin of its founding is unknown, but it was once located at "5-2-9 Honcho-dori, Nakano-ku," so it was named "5-2-9" as a play on the Japanese word "gofuku."
