[Takeuchi Inari Shrine/Tokyo] A place loved by Iwaki City poet Kusano Shinpei

Takeuchi Inari Shrine in Higashimurayama, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 If you head southeast from Tokorozawa Station, you will come to Fushimi Inari Shrine, and this shrine is located a few minutes away from there. It is surrounded by residential areas and there is a park next to it. The shrine is located a short way up the stone steps. The fox statue has weathered and the surrounding area is a bit messy. A river flows nearby and there is Akitsu Bridge. The "Hikari Amaneshi Monument" next to the bridge This monument is named after Kusano Shinpei, a poet from Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. He lived here in Akitsu from 1963 until his death at the age of 85 in 1988. He seemed to like this place, so he named it "Gokou" to mean that the area is left in its natural state.
