The appeal of "Taga no Sato" is the farm produce direct sales shop, fish shop, and restaurant lined up on the premises. Many people visit the neighboring Taga Shrine to eat and shop, so it is a popular spot. It is also a recommended spot where you can enjoy Chita Peninsula gourmet food. The farm produce section is lined with fresh local vegetables, fruits, and fresh seafood. It is a direct sales market like a town station or roadside station. The fresh fish store "Uohiro" is a fresh fish store located in a corner of Taga no Sato. They purchase fish every morning from Toyohama Fishing Port in Minamichita Town. They handle not only raw fish, but also cooked fish such as fried and boiled fish. By the way, the price is surprising. I was able to purchase fresh fish from only 60 yen. If you ask the staff to "fry it", they will fry it until it is crispy. What's even more surprising is that it's a free service. Definitely worth a try!
