There is a group of small temples in the old town of Chiang Mai, not far away from Anusawari Sam Kasat and Tha Phae Gate. If your hotel is next to Tha Phae Gate, you can stroll in the old town in the early morning and enjoy rare serenity. Behind the temple is an old pagoda. Some meditation courses for tourists. If you are interested it, just have a try.
