Sasayama Castle Daishoin: A famous Japanese castle without a castle tower

This morning we drove from Fairfield Inn Kyoto Tamba to Sasayama Castle. This time we mainly came to see the Daishoin (why is Daishoin more attractive to me than Sasayama Castle? XD). This is a national historic site. Unfortunately, Daishoin was ravaged by a fire in 1944 and was rebuilt in 2000. It was also selected as one of the 100 famous castles in Japan in 2006. XD Sasayama Castle is a sturdy castle built by Todo Takatora and is the landmark of Tamba Sasayama.
