Apart from the "minor inconvenience for drinkers," this hotel has truly perfected "luxury and comfort" in every detail. Just checked out from MO and couldn’t wait to share my experience! This stay was "almost perfect." Let’s start with the drawbacks before diving into the praise— Guests mentioning "inconvenience for drinking" might be referring to: • The minibar in the room doesn’t stock hard liquor (only beer, sparkling water, and juice). If you want a drink, you’ll need to visit the "The Jade Lounge" bar on the first floor or the Michelin-starred "Ya Ge" on the fifth floor. • The bar closes at 11:00 PM, so if you want alcohol after that, you’ll need to order room service (limited options and higher prices). However, for those who don’t drink, this is a non-issue—some might even appreciate the absence of lingering alcohol smells in the room, making it feel fresher. 🔥 Reasons why the rest of the experience was "divine": 1. Location + Service: Pampering at its finest • Situated in the serene Nanjing East Road business district, it’s a 15-minute cab ride to the 101 area and an 8-minute walk to the MRT "Zhongxiao Fuxing Station." A perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. • The front desk proactively helped us book a "Jiufen Day Trip," complete with a detailed itinerary and must-try food recommendations written on a note. It was more thorough than doing our own research! During check-in, they even gifted us a "Taipei-exclusive tea-scented hand cream" with a subtle Tieguanyin fragrance. 2. Facilities: A haven for Michelin and spa enthusiasts • "Ya Ge" on the fifth floor is a Michelin one-star Cantonese restaurant! We ordered the char siu (crispy outside, juicy inside) and mango sago dessert. The dessert platter even featured MO’s signature lion-shaped chocolate. Be sure to book in advance—guests get priority reservations. • The "Oriental Qi Spa" is a must-try! I chose the "hot stone therapy," and the therapist’s technique was both gentle and firm. After the session, they served roselle jelly and hot tea, making me want to stay forever. 3. Rooms: Luxury hidden in effortless details • The deluxe room is spacious, with a hand-embroidered orchid design on the headboard. The curtain controls offer "light-filtering mode" and "blackout mode," perfect for lazy mornings without sunlight waking you up. • Amenities are from the French premium brand ACCA KAPPA, with shower gel that has a subtle mossy scent.
