Taipei Spicy Hot Pot Recommendations

As a spicy hot pot enthusiast, I’m back at it again today! ✨️ I saw a blogger recommend this place called "Jiang Lao Die Ai Chi Guo" and decided to give it a try. I chose the Spicy/Stone Pot broth. Their Stone Pot broth is different from others—it’s thicker and incredibly flavorful. I couldn’t resist drinking several bowls! The hot pot ingredients here are all handmade, which is quite unique. They even have spicy dumplings 🤣, though personally, I found them just okay. Highly recommend the beef meatballs! They’re juicy and bursting with flavor!!! You can definitely tell they’re handmade, not the kind with chemical additives. The meat inside is firm and substantial. Since the dishes were served a bit slowly today, we were treated to Lion’s Head meatballs. These are also handmade, and the meat inside is full of rich juices. After the meal, they serve a small ice dessert as a sweet treat. The restaurant’s decor has a retro vibe, it’s very clean, and the service is truly excellent.
