Switzerland… A land of sweet dreams🇨🇭 When it comes to countries that seem to have come out of a fairy tale, Switzerland is the country where the dreams of nature lovers and peace come true! Whether it’s the tall mountains, the crystal clear lakes, the lovely country-style wooden houses that will melt your heart, or even the famous desserts and chocolates that will make your heart skip a beat, We started our trip in Zurich, a large city full of simple charm. We took a walk along the Limmat River, where the water was crystal clear like a mirror, and saw the reflections of old houses, churches, and beautiful wooden bridges decorated with colorful flowers. Every step we took was a joyful and fulfilling experience. In Zurich, we didn’t miss out on trying desserts and coffee in a small, warm shop. We also got to see the atmosphere of the city’s people who live a slow life. Sipping coffee with freshly baked croissants that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, or freshly made fragrant and crispy pretzels every day was so satisfying. From Zurich, we took the train to Lucerne, a small city that was as cute as if it had come out of a cartoon. The highlight of this city is the old wooden bridge called Kapellbrücke or Chapel Bridge decorated with colorful flowers. Walking across the bridge is like walking in a painting in the middle of a valley. Lake Lucerne is also very cute. The water is so clear that you can clearly see the reflection of the snowy mountains in the distance. We took a relaxing boat ride to enjoy the view and breathe in the fresh air. The scent of nature and the surrounding tranquility made us feel like we were fully recharged. After that, we continued to Mount Pilatus, which is famous for its magnificent view. When we got on the cable car, we felt “Wow!” because every view along the way was indescribably beautiful. There were mountains, lakes, a sea of ​​fog, and white snow. It was a moment that we wanted everyone to experience this freshness for themselves. Next, we headed to a very cute little town called Interlaken. This town is located between two lakes, Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, with very clear water that you would want to jump into and play in. The town is full of colorful wooden houses, bakeries, and chocolate shops that you won’t know which one to try. When it comes to chocolate, I have to say that Switzerland is truly a chocolate lover's paradise, whether it's chocolate bars, candy bars, or chocolate fondue that melts in your mouth, so sweet and smooth. After trying it, I was so impressed that I bought several boxes back home. Another special highlight of this trip was taking the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe train, a train that will take us to the highest train station in Europe. The view along the way is so beautiful that it brings tears to your eyes as you pass through the green fields, small wooden houses decorated with flowers, and the magnificent snow-capped mountains that tower over the sky. When we reached the top of the mountain, we were greeted by pure white snow as far as the eye could see, along with the cool breeze that refreshed our bodies to the max. We walked around the Ice Palace, which has ice sculptures that are beautiful and sparkling like stars on a clear night, or took pictures with the "Top of Europe" sign with a magnificent view of the snowy mountains that you would hardly believe you were actually standing there. It was such a wonderful and impressive feeling that we wanted to keep it in our hearts forever. For the adventurous and fun-loving crowd, there are many activities to choose from on top of Jungfrau. Sledding, snowboarding, or just walking around in the snow is so satisfying that your heart will melt. After that, we took the Glacier Express train, which is famous for its beautiful scenery. This train route will take us through snowy mountains, green fields, dense pine forests, high arched bridges, and clear blue lakes. The scenery on both sides is so beautiful that it feels like we are sitting in a fairy tale that we will never forget. The destination of this train is Zermatt, a small town where there are no cars to drive. There is only peace and nature that is magnificent. Wooden houses decorated with beautiful fresh flowers and the famous pyramid-shaped mountain, Matterhorn, which is the symbol of the country and the inspiration for the Toblerone chocolate logo. Waking up in the morning and seeing this mountain standing tall in front of us made my heart swell in an indescribable way. In Zermatt, we walked around the town, chose a small cafe, sipped coffee while enjoying the mountain view, and also met cows and sheep walking in the fields. It was so cute and heartwarming. We ended our trip with the dream village of Lauterbrunnen, a village located in a valley surrounded by steep cliffs and many waterfalls flowing down the cliffs. The sound of the waterfall combined with the sound of the cowbell is a natural music that makes the heart calm and happy every time we hear it. The rows of wooden houses and green fields are memories that we will never forget. Every day of the trip, we woke up refreshed. We saw the view of the snowy mountains, the blue lake, and the wooden houses that looked warm like a dream home. We tried local food such as Cheese Fondue or hot cheese fondue dipped in bread and melted cheese, including Raclette, hot grilled cheese on potatoes. The taste was so delicious that we wanted to eat it again and again. Switzerland is a country where both nature and culture are perfectly blended.
